Ancient History-Based Writing Lessons (Teacher/Student Combo)

Experience the adventures of the ancient world! This theme-based writing curriculum exposes students to the ancient world through cultural literature and the study of famous places and events while they learn to write with the Structure and Style®️ writing method. Offering a full year of instruction for students in grades 4-7, these lessons cover all nine IEW Units. These lessons are designed to be used by an instructor who has been through the Teaching Writing: Structure and Style®️ seminar, either live or on video. Perfect for homeschoolers, homeschool co-ops, tutors, and hybrid schools.

This set includes the Teacher’s Manual and Student Book for a full year of instruction. The Teacher’s Manual includes lessons, answer keys, embedded images of student pages, teaching tips, vocabulary quizzes, student exemplars, simplified source texts, and advanced additions for older students. This Teacher’s Manual may not be reproduced; each teacher must purchase their own copy. The Student Book includes lessons plus vocabulary cards, literature suggestions, and access to helpful PDF downloads. The purchaser may copy this Student Book for use by multiple children within his or her immediate family. For small group or co-op classes: each participating student or family is required to purchase a Student Book. The Teacher’s Manual contains 334 pages and the Student Book contains 362 pages
